Code of Conduct

Introduction

Welcome to Purple Clouds, a professionally organized festival celebrating creativity, inclusivity and self-expression. Our goal is to create a safe, respectful and memorable environment for all furries. By attending, you agree to adhere to these guidelines. Attendees who fail to comply risk immediate removal of the festival and may not be permitted to attend in the future.

Registration

• Attendees must be 18+ at the time of ticket purchase. Valid ID or Passport is required for entry
• Wristbands must be worn visibly at all times. Lost wristbands should be replaced immediately at registration
• Only registered attendees with valid tickets can access the festival areas
• Wristbands are non-transferable and tampering with them is strictly prohibited
• Sharing or lending wristbands is not allowed and will result in removal from the event

General Behavior

• Follow all instructions from our staff and security
• Respect all attendees, staff and crew. Abusive behaviour will result in a ban
• Always ask for consent before physical contact
• Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated
• Keep personal music and noise levels reasonable, especially after midnight

Dresscode, Clothing & Gear

• Costumes or items that depicting any kind of illegal signs, ideologies or ideas are prohibited
• Costumes or items depicting hate, harrasment or abusive content are prohibited
• Spikes and any kind of pointy or sharp objects are not allowed
• Real fur is prohibited
• The use of body paint is prohibited
• Gear elements which might be dangerous or affect other non-involved attendees are prohibited

Alcohol & Drugs

• Drink responsibly; disruptive intoxication will result in an ejection
• Illegal substances are strictly forbidden and will be reported to authorities
• Smoking and vaping are allowed in designated areas, keep the environment clean
• Glass is not allowed on the entire festival area
• The use of weed is permitted, as long as you keep distance to others
• Bar staff have the right to refuse service if deemed necessary

General Rules

• Respect others and keep the festival grounds clean, do not litter!
• Do not enter staff-only areas or tamper with equipment
• Climbing structures, especially the tents and their pillars, or damaging property is strictly prohibited
• Attendees are liable for damages caused by their behaviour and may lead to legal action
• Animals and pets are strictly prohibited from the festival

Camping & Parking

• Maintain cleanliness and order on the campsite
• Non-registered guests may not stay inside the festival area nor campsite
• Follow parking instructions and keep noise minimal during nighttime hours
• Don’t set up your tent wherever you feel like: follow instructions from the staff
• For safety reasons open flames are strictly prohibited

Weapons & Dangerous Items

• Real or imitation weapons, fireworks, and dangerous items are banned
• Props must be inspected and approved by staff

Photos & Videos

• Consent is required before photographing or recording individuals
• You have the permission to take photos and videos for non-commercial purposes
• Commercial photography is prohibited without prior authorization through our staff
• Photographing and filming is not allowed in the Fursuit Lounge Tent
• Official Photo- and Videograhers will take photos and record videos for our socials and website

Enforcement

• Minor infractions may result in warnings. Severe violations will lead to immediate ejection or ban
• All decisions made by festival staff are final

Closing Statement

This overarching rule can be applied at any time during the event. The following actions or behaviors may result in immediate removal from Purple Clouds and a potential ban from all future events.

• Major disruption to festival operations
• Causing significant discomfort to other attendees, staff, or the public
• Damaging the relationship between Purple Clouds and its attendees, the venue owners or the organizers
• Any form of discrimination, including but not limited to racism, transphobia, ableism, sexism, body-shaming or kink-shaming
